Listing Guidelines
Effective date: October 1, 2026
IndieSheet lists genuine products built by independent makers. Every listing gets a permanent page and a link that search engines follow, so we keep the directory free of spam to protect makers and readers alike.
What we list
- Software, apps, browser extensions, APIs, developer tools, templates and digital products that people can actually use or buy today.
- Products with a working website that clearly explains what the product does and who it is for.
- Launches submitted by the maker or someone authorised to represent the product.
What we do not list
- Gambling, betting, casino, lottery or sweepstakes sites.
- Adult or sexual content, escort or hookup services.
- Unlicensed pharmaceuticals, drugs or supplements making medical claims.
- Counterfeit, replica, cracked, nulled or pirated goods and software.
- Fake engagement (followers, likes, reviews), account selling, carding or other fraud.
- High-risk finance: payday loans, trading signals, or anything promising guaranteed returns.
- Essay mills and other academic cheating services.
- Link selling, private blog networks and SEO spam.
- Malware, phishing, parked domains, placeholder pages, or sites that redirect elsewhere.
How review works
Every submission is screened automatically when it is sent. Clearly prohibited products are declined straight away. Submissions that need a closer look are held for a manual review and will not go live through the badge or an instant launch until a person has approved them; we email you with the outcome.
We may remove or edit any listing that later breaks these guidelines. If an instant launch is declined, the payment is refunded.
Think we got it wrong?
Automated screening is cautious and sometimes flags genuine products, such as planning-poker or scheduling tools. Reply to any IndieSheet email and we will take another look.
